Daniel Mališ, J.D., M.D., LL.M.
Daniel Mališ, J.D., M.D., LL.M., primarily focuses on business law, real estate law, litigation, the law of exchange, intellectual property law, labor law and bankruptcy law.
Daniel is a graduate of Charles University’s First School of Medicine (1996) and Charles University’s School of Law (1998). Immediately after taking his degree in law, he joined the former Prague branch of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he worked until 2001. At Freshfields, Daniel focused on business law and intellectual property law. Among other clients, he gave legal advice to a major global software producer and two leading international pharmaceutical companies.
Daniel further extended his legal education in the USA at New York University’s School of Law (2001—2002), where he focused on contract law and intellectual property law. This school awarded him a Master of Law (LL.M.) degree. He completed his comprehensive study of American law by successfully passing the New York Bar Exam (2002) and later became a member of the New York State Bar Association. After returning to the Czech Republic, Daniel successfully passed the Czech Bar Exam (2002) and set up his own law firm.
Daniel’s interests include studying English, long-distance running, inline skating, chess, and organ music.
He speaks fluent Czech and English, and has a good passive knowledge of Russian.
