Hourly Rate

The total fee is calculated by multiplying the hourly rate and the number of hours spent on the case (hourly rate x the number of hours). Among other things, this type of remuneration is appropriate when a long-term relationship has been established between the client (usually a commercial company) and the law firm, especially when the amount or type of work assigned varies from month to month, or when the work is assigned by various employees of the client, etc.
