Through no fault of their own, individuals and (smaller) commercial companies, who don’t try to inadvisably cut corners on legal advice and who are aware of the importance of good legal representation to ensure success in their lawsuits, sometimes find themselves in a situation where the amount of funds they can invest in legal services is limited. When these situations arise, their access to high-quality legal services is considerably restricted. For this reason, they completely lose out in terms of exercising their legitimate rights.
Mališ Nevrkla Legal does its utmost to accommodate clients like these. Consequently, in such situations, it offers to provide the required legal services for a flat rate determined by the client, which corresponds to the aforementioned limit that their budget allows for the legal services they need. A sum determined in this way by the client must be set in good faith with respect to their actual (impartially calculated) budget capacities, and it must be paid beforehand in most cases.
The provision of legal advice under these pricing terms and conditions has no influence on the quality of the services provided, but it is restricted exclusively to the cases in question. Apart from the conditions outlined above, the following factors play a role in any decision to accept a client’s proposal in these circumstances:
- the extent to which the given case pertains to the areas of law where the law firm provides its services;
- the law firm’s current capacities in terms of time and human resources;
- the stimulating and challenging nature of the case from a legal point of view;
- the extent to which the proposed payment is a reasonable sum with respect to the prevailing price levels for an attorney’s services;
- the current number of cases that the law firm has taken on in this price category.
